One of AES's strengths and passions is Project Scheduling. In today's complex construction environment, project scheduling is crucial to completing a project on time and within budget. As a
contractual requirement or a management tool, an updated and accurate schedule helps control resources and increases the accuracy of schedule projections. As an Owner’s Rep, AES can review and
analyze project schedules submitted by contractors to ensure they are realistic, take into consideration known operational constraints, and are created to meet the required contractual completion
dates. Once reviewed, AES provides comments to the Owner as well as the contractor and work with them to accommodate the project with minimal impact to both.
Although most contractors are able to build a schedule that can be used to manage construction, a large number of construction schedules have serious inaccuracies that reduce the schedule's use as a
management tool and as a tool for measuring delay. Whether you are presenting project status updates to senior management, your customer, or reviewing upcoming work with team members, an accurate
project schedule provides an objective method of communicating schedule progress, as well as highlighting the potential impacts of project issues.
Without an accurate schedule, it is difficult to assess the schedule, resources and cost ramifications of a project change. Not only can a schedule improve the quality of impact analysis, it also
provides a means of simulating the impacts of different approaches to a proposed change.
AES’s professionals have over 20 years in construction scheduling, using Primavera P3, P6, Microsoft Project, and other schedule software. We have worked with government agencies, construction
managers, general contractors, and specialty contractors in preparing and maintaining CPM schedules. AES has the ability to take over a contractor created schedule or create a schedule from scratch
and can perform updates according to the project’s needs.
